1Perfect Execution
BATI Tourism City
BATI Tourism City is a planned, large-scale eco-tourism and residential development located around the historic Bati area in Takeo province. Envisioned as a future satellite city, its concept leverages the region's natural beauty (including the Phnom Tamao forest and nearby temples) to create a multi-purpose destination. The project aims to blend cultural heritage with modern amenities, featuring resorts, recreational facilities, and residential zones. It is part of a broader strategy to diversify Cambodia's tourism offerings beyond the Angkor Wat temple complex and decongest Phnom Penh.

2A Real Success
House
The Cambodian government has initiated various "House Schemes" or national housing programs to address the country's rapid urbanization and a growing need for affordable housing. These projects, often developed in partnership with private companies, aim to provide lower-income families and civil servants with access to financed homes, typically on the outskirts of major cities like Phnom Penh. The goal is to promote home ownership, manage urban expansion, and improve living standards, though challenges remain regarding location, infrastructure, and accessibility for the very poorest.

3Exceptional Achievement
Industrial
Cambodia's industrial sector is a primary driver of its economic growth, dominated by garment, footwear, and travel goods manufacturing (often called "the garment industry"). Located primarily in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) around Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville, this sector provides millions of jobs and is the country's largest export earner. The government is now actively promoting "Industrial Development Policy" to diversify the sector, moving into higher-value manufacturing, automotive parts, electronics, and component assembly to climb global value chains and reduce reliance on the garment industry alone.
